Engineer General Synopsis
Aerospace stress contract positions are typically
filled by an engineer at the hiring company by a referral. This is by
far the best approach if you need a contract. Finding a contact without
an internal referral within the company can at times make the
hiring process difficult. Employers are skeptical hiring a contract
person on the basis of no more than a resume.
A telephone interview often screens persons padding
a resume, and is a good process for a well qualified potential employee.
Ask direct questions with respect to the open position. Typical contract
positions in the US range from 6 to 12 months, but can last longer.
